We work with the support of the Drive Electric Campaign

Drive Electric is the international campaign promoted by the Climateworks Foundation, a prestigious institution that supports us to promote electromobility in Paraguay, through a feasibility study on charging infrastructure.

In Asunción, we are proud to work with this organization developing research tasks and preparing an international seminar workshop from the Paraguayan Association of Renewable Energies and the Center for Management of Sustainable Technologies.

Sponsored by Rockefeller Philantrophy Advisors, a non-profit philanthropic society, we have been able to access a grant to establish the technical parameters through a feasibility study that focuses on electric vehicle charging infrastructure, the foundation for the expansion of electromobility in the country.

Organizations promote smart government policies to drive electric vehicle (EV) supply and demand, directly impacting regional change and scaling strategies for rapid adoption.

Here, we engage business leaders to ensure adequate investment and drive ambitious EV procurement commitments. And by supporting various people-powered coalitions, we mobilize communities to demand better health, jobs, and environmental justice.

Reducing climate change

Electrifying road transport, powered by clean energy, provides one of the most powerful and scalable ways globally to achieve a safer climate. With this program, we can eliminate thousands of tons of carbon pollution, avoiding estimated climate damage in the main communities of Paraguay through concrete projects such as focused on public transport or community developments, by expanding the fleet of private electric vehicles.

Developing a green economy

Obviously transforming transport into electric brings with it new investments. Drive Electric estimates that thousands of jobs will be created in vehicle parts manufacturing, charging infrastructure and local services. By addressing interconnected barriers, our roadmap tackles cost and convenience challenges to drive savings for individuals and businesses.

It’s everyone’s responsability

During Monday, March 20, we held a videoconference with the main managers of the Chamber of Distributors and Machinery of Automotive and Machinery of Paraguay, CADAM. The objective is to have a common agenda to develop joint projects that promote electromobility and, through scientific and technical knowledge, support the private sector to expand infrastructure networks and promotion in important cities of the country.
